RICHMOND DONATES $15,000 TO RICHMOND FISHER HOUSE, 2012

The Richmond Fisher House serves as a home away from home for the families of veterans receiving medical treatment at the McGuire VA hospital close by. What a worthy cause. Chapter members, moved by First Lady Michelle Obama’s call to support the US military and its families, voted to donate a portion of our fundraising funds to benefit the Richmond Fisher House, a home for the families of returning veterans receiving care at the Richmond Veterans Administration Medical Center.

The Richmond Links is pleased to contribute to such an important cause that supports families of our everyday heroes, members of the US military, who daily put their lives on the line for the safety and security of our beloved country.
